Sources

Atlas should help people return to the authority—not obscure where a record came from.

Beta source state: The searchable fixture is synthetic and has no underlying parcel source. It exists only to exercise the interface. Any official material referenced elsewhere is general cycle context only; it does not source or endorse a fictional record.
Independent operator: MidwestAmalfi Atlas is independently operated by Gary Vision Ventures, LLC. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lake County, the State of Indiana, any municipality, or any tax-sale administrator.

Production source standard

Each real record must name the publishing authority, public document or dataset, retrieval time, relevant cycle, and direct source location when public linking is permitted.

Source hierarchy

  1. Official county or state records and notices.
  2. Official sale-platform materials expressly linked by the responsible authority.
  3. Clearly attributed supplemental public records, never substituted for the controlling source.

Known source gaps

A source may omit or lag title issues, redemption activity, occupancy, property condition, environmental conditions, municipal obligations, code enforcement, utilities, demolition status, or later corrections. Those questions remain separate diligence.

Corrections

Sources change. If a public Atlas record conflicts with its official source, use the corrections process. The official authority remains controlling.
