How Atlas works
Inspect a fictional record, understand its source status and limits, build the available demo worksheet, and verify independently before acting.
- Search. In the current beta, search and filter the small fictional fixture. A future approved public projection may support parcel number or address fields.
- Read the limits. Each result shows its source status, freshness label, workflow stage, and known gaps; fictional rows intentionally have no official source link.
- Build the demo worksheet. For fictional rows only, create a printable source-and-gaps checklist in the browser. No account or server-side saved work exists.
- Verify before acting. A future public-record row must link to its controlling source, which must be reopened before relying on it. Use qualified legal, tax, title, environmental, engineering, or construction help as needed.
Why the public beta uses fictional rows
The real Lake County source currently available to the project is a third-party sale platform. Atlas will not republish those rows commercially until a written right or a separately lawful county-supplied source is bound to the release.
